Job Description

  • Develop and implement welding procedures and specifications tailored to project requirements, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Conduct material selection and metallurgical analysis to optimize welding processes and enhance joint integrity.
  • Perform in-depth inspections and evaluations of welded structures to identify defects and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead root cause analysis investigations for welding failures, documenting findings and proposing design or process improvements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and documentation on welding activities, including inspections, tests, and compliance with specifications.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or any engineering related field is essential.
  • A minimum of 7 years of relevant industry experience in welding engineering or metallurgical processes is required.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Welding Engineer (CWE or similar are highly preferred.
  • Certified CSWIP Senior Welding Inspector/Welding and Metallurgical Engineer (CWE)
  • Working knowledge of basic and advanced NDE procedures
  • Good knowledge of welding codes and standards such as ASME VIII, IX, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8API 1104, API 577, API 582
  • Saudi Aramco project experience will be added advantage
