Responsibilities

1. Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
2. Conceptualize original website design ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex roadblocks.
3. Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to communicate interaction and design ideas.
4. Present and defend designs and key deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
5. Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.

Requirements

1. Proven work experience as a Web Designer.
2. Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
3. Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
4. Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or other visual design and wireframing tools.
5. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping.
6. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
7. Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
8. Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
9. Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques, and technologies.
10. BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a Visual Arts subject.
11. At least 3 years of experience in the IT Business Development sector.
