Reporting to the Country Manager, the Water Quality Monitoring Laboratory Subject Matter Expert / Application Development Manager is a key front-line actor for strategic industrial and municipal accounts. You are vital to our organization's ability to deliver customer value and drive growth. You will work within a dedicated network of professionals providing industry-leading customer service, including Senior Leadership, Sales, Customer Service, Technical Support, and more. This position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will be remote.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities by researching market trends, cultivating relationships, maintaining high customer satisfaction, conducting technical sessions, and participating in standards organizations.
• Coordinating with Sales and Marketing to develop strategies and market growth plans.
• Capturing new business aligned with our technical expertise and strategic roadmap, managing customer relationships, and translating product requirements.
• Developing and executing business plans to grow HACH's presence across technologies and segments, and coordinating campaigns with Marketing.
• Attending meetings to gather customer and market feedback to inform plans and strategies.
• Growing relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders, and promoting our products at meetings and trade shows.
• Developing key accounts, OEM opportunities, and strategic partnerships to support sales targets.
• Acting as a technical liaison to distributors and representatives, providing support for problem-solving and sales activities.
• Identifying and executing opportunities to meet sales targets, and documenting in CRM.
• Contributing to industry standards development for organizations like ASTM and USP.

The essential requirements include:

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Over 10 years of relevant technical experience in analytical laboratory instrumentation and chemicals related to water quality monitoring, with process experience as an advantage.
• Skills in business development and familiarity with CRM software (SFDC or similar).
• Willingness to travel up to 80% within Saudi Arabia.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Valid driving license.
