Job description

Job Introduction:

overseeing the day-to-day operations of a warehouse and monitoring the productivity of the staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervision, training, and direct assistance of warehouse operations which include, loading/unloading the goods, receiving orders, sorting inventory, put away, picking, and inventory control.
2. Leading by example in the implementation of the procedures and best practices of warehouse operations and making sure that its well comprehended and consistently followed.
3. Drive an efficient and motivated workforce by providing effective coaching, feedback, and encouragement.
4. Maintain accurate inventory levels by leading regular physical counts with warehouse teams and reconcile discrepancies with the warehouse inventory system.
5. Ensure a culture of safety by enforcing safety standards and adhering to standard operational procedures.
6. Measure and report KPIs and operational metrics to the Operations Manager on a weekly basis.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain or any relevant field.
2. 4-5 years of experience in a supervisory warehouse role within FMCG industry.

2. Strong knowledge of modern warehousing practices and methods.
