Key Accountability:
- Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, identifying, dispatching, and assuring the quality of goods.
- Ensure full adherence to warehouse operation procedures.
- Measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance.
- Organize and maintain inventory and storage areas.
- Ensure accuracy in shipments and inventory transactions.
- Communicate job expectations and coach employees.
- Ensure warehouse staff understand their job duties (job descriptions).
- Train warehouse staff and provide necessary tools and equipment for their duties.
- Determine staffing levels and assign workloads.
- Oversee and continuously monitor the performance and activities of warehouse operations.
- Monitor the quality of materials (near expiry, damaged, defrosted, etc.) and report issues.
- Report and justify disposal of defective or expired materials.
- Maintain organized storage rooms and ensure proper storage and placement of materials to maximize area utilization.
- Inspect loading areas, storage rooms for cleanliness, maintenance, housekeeping, and security.
- Comply with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain item records, document necessary information, and utilize reports to assess warehouse status.
- Lead monthly stock counts and reconciliation.
- Manage disposal processes and update systems accordingly.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or business administration.
- Minimum of 4 years in warehouse operations with proven experience as a warehouse supervisor.
- Effective supervisory skills and techniques.
- Knowledge of warehouse software packages and proficiency in MS Office; SAP experience preferred.
