- Warehouse SAP Specialist

The opportunity

To build your career as a Warehouse SAP Specialist, managing or performing work related to procurement, supply, and logistics of manufacturing materials, including Materials Requirements Planning, Materials Procurement/Purchasing, Materials Inventory Planning & Control, and Materials Warehousing, Distribution & Transportation. An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of the job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require proficiency in working independently with general supervision. The problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

How you’ll make an impact

Oversee and execute the receiving, put-away, and storage of incoming materials and inventory using SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) and SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) modules. Execute goods issue, goods receipt, staging, picking, and packing using EWM. Coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of outgoing materials and orders using SAP EWM. Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales teams to align inventory levels with demand, utilizing SAP's Materials Requirements Planning (MRP). Investigate and resolve discrepancies, damages, or issues related to materials. Manage inventory control, including cycle counting and physical inventory, leveraging SAP's inventory management and reporting capabilities. Maintain accurate records of material transactions, inventory levels, and warehouse activities in SAP. Provide training and guidance to warehouse staff on materials handling procedures and SAP tools. Stay informed of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in warehouse management, and identify opportunities to enhance SAP-based processes. Your background

Excellent knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft applications. Experience in SAP Materials Management Module and S/4HANA is preferred. At least 2+ years of experience in Inventory and Materials Management. A diploma or bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, management information systems, or a related field. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
