ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible for executing the logistics strategy by translating and aligning its core elements into appropriate solutions, delivering logistics services to relevant end-markets/distributors. The role contributes to the performance of relevant markets by ensuring flawless outbound logistics of finished goods from end to end, with proper documentation and supervision of 3PL performance.

What You Will Be Accountable For

• Ensure logistics service performance levels meet agreements with the end-market.
• Collaborate on monitoring KPIs with customers and suppliers.
• Ensure logistics solutions operate within cost and efficiency parameters, seeking improvements.
• Develop operational relationships with logistics providers.
• Manage logistics transportation of FG to optimize availability within budget and on time, minimizing costs and maximizing product availability.
• Monitor stock levels at warehouse and coordinate replenishment plans; liaise with distributors on order fulfillment.
• Manage inventory levels to ensure availability, freshness (FEFO), and minimize OOS.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics with third-party logistics providers, ensuring shipment documentation compliance.
• Report KPIs such as stock reconciliation, warehouse conditions, and stock movements.
• Maintain relationships with warehouse suppliers and oversee warehouse management.
• Plan logistics and manage freight, optimize loading and routing, and implement delivery strategies.
• Manage returns, recalls, and establish third-party partnerships, including performance monitoring.
• Handle trading documentation, security, and risk management.

Essential Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

• 1-2 years experience in logistics customer service within an FMCG company.
• Supply chain experience is advantageous.
• Business planning skills and analytical capability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of logistics operations, services by logistics partners, and implementation of logistics solutions.
• Knowledge of distribution capacities and constraints.
• Fluent in English.
• Understanding of finance, trade rules, and customs regulations.
