About the team
Careem Grocery is on a mission to reinvent how people shop for their daily essentials. As an exciting new vertical within Careem (a startup within a startup), we’re in the early stages of building our product. We have plenty of interesting and fundamental challenges to solve to achieve our ambitious growth goals in this booming space.
We are building a modern fulfilment and logistics network to power Careem’s q-commerce grocery ambitions — combining best-in-class warehouse processes, data-driven decisions, and customer obsession to deliver speed, accuracy, and reliability to every order.
What you'll do
Lead and oversee daily warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, put-away, and order dispatch.
Coordinate workflows across teams to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and maintain operational efficiency.
Optimize warehouse throughput by identifying process bottlenecks and implementing workflow improvements.
Manage and develop a team through shift planning, goal setting, productivity tracking, and training on SOPs and safety.
Build dashboards and trackers to monitor KPIs like order speed, picking/inventory accuracy, shrinkage, and fulfilment rate.
Utilize WMS and internal tools to drive operational improvements, identify inefficiencies, and ensure SOP compliance.
Enforce inventory accuracy, minimize shrinkage, and ensure safety and compliance through audits, training, and risk management.
