About the role:

Lumi is expanding its logistics operations in Al Baha under a major national healthcare supply chain project. We are currently hiring a Health, Safety, Environment & Quality Officer to ensure our warehouses and logistics operations comply with the highest safety and quality standards.

This role is essential in maintaining a safe and efficient workplace, ensuring staff training, incident prevention, and alignment with regulatory and customer standards.

Responsibilities
  • Enforce compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct daily and weekly safety inspections and risk assessments in the warehouse and transport zones.
  • Investigate and report incidents and suggest corrective actions.
  • Maintain all safety documentation and inspection records.
  • Monitor temperature-sensitive goods and ensure safe handling and transport practices.
  • Train warehouse staff on emergency procedures and safety protocols.
  • Ensure the quality management system is applied during receiving, storing, and dispatching processes.
  • Communicate effectively with team leaders and supervisors to ensure operational risks are minimized.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant guidelines and regulations issued by the Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA), including storage, handling, and transport requirements for sensitive or regulated goods.
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s degree or diploma in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in an HSE or quality role in warehousing or logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, audits, inspections, and reporting.
  • Certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Saudi labor and HSE regulations is required.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle fieldwork in warehouse environments.
