A leading company in the retail sector is looking for a Visual Merchandize Designer/Graphic Designer/Interior Designer to create impactful visual communication materials. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design within retail. Responsibilities include designing layouts, advertisements, and promotional materials, along with coordinating projects to ensure timely delivery. Candidates with a strong knowledge of graphic design software and retail practices are encouraged to apply.
Key duties and responsibilities are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature as follows:
Ability to: Work with team and managers to interpret and translate needs into concepts, develop effective communication materials, plan, coordinate, and organize projects to ensure timely and cost-effective completion, conceive and produce files or artwork, work under pressure to meet deadlines, and follow or give oral and written directions.
Knowledge of: Advanced experience with digital art, graphic design, layout, illustration, operation of graphics software, typesetting, color theory, digital printing, photography, and printing processes. Also includes knowledge of retail visual practices, visual merchandizing, and promotional campaigns.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Art and Design or Interior Design from an accredited university.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of mid or senior-level graphic design experience, with experience in retail.
