Qualifications:

• BD in Dental Surgery
• Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
• Licensed to practice as an Oral Surgeon
• Minimum 8 years of total experience, with at least 3 years in the specialty after membership

Experience:

• 10 to 12 years

License:

• Valid SCFHS License as a Consultant / Specialist (if within KSA)
• For candidates outside KSA, eligible for medical license as per SCFHS criteria
• Valid medical license from home country

Role and Responsibilities:

• Consult with patients, analyze data to determine needs and treatment goals
• Collaborate with specialists like restorative dentists and orthodontists for treatment planning
• Administer anesthetics as needed
• Perform surgical procedures such as extracting impacted or damaged teeth
• Prescribe medications for recovery and pain management
• Treat infections of the oral cavity, salivary glands, jaw, face, and neck
• Provide emergency treatment for orofacial injuries, including facial and intraoral lacerations and fractured facial bones
