Job Overview:
As a Veterinary Doctor at SVC, you will be responsible for providing medical care to a variety of animals, diagnosing illnesses, performing treatments, conducting surgeries, and educating pet owners on the best practices for maintaining the health of their pets. You will work closely with our veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure that every animal receives the best care possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine and Diagnose Animals: Perform comprehensive health exams on pets and animals, assess symptoms, and diagnose medical conditions using clinical and diagnostic tools.
- Treat and Manage Illnesses: Develop and implement treatment plans, prescribe medications, and monitor the progress of animals’ recovery.
- Perform Surgeries: Conduct routine and emergency surgeries, including spays, neuters, soft tissue surgeries, and other necessary operations.
- Emergency Care: Provide immediate and emergency medical care for animals in critical condition.
- Preventative Care: Administer vaccinations, conduct health screenings, and provide recommendations for preventive treatments (e.g., flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention).
- Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each patient, documenting diagnoses, treatments, surgeries, and outcomes.
- Educate Pet Owners: Advise and educate pet owners on their pets’ health, nutrition, behavior, and care needs, ensuring they understand the importance of preventive care and wellness programs.
- Collaborate with the Team: Work closely with other veterinarians, technicians, and clinic staff to provide excellent care, share knowledge, and improve processes.
- Professional Development: Stay current with the latest veterinary practices, medical advancements, and continuing education opportunities to ensure high standards of care.
- Manage Pain and Comfort: Administer appropriate pain management protocols and ensure animals are comfortable during treatment or recovery.
- Client Communication: Foster strong, professional relationships with clients, ensuring they are satisfied with the care provided and have confidence in the clinic’s services.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 Kg.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a variety of environments (clinical setting, emergency situations, surgical areas).
Required Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary school.
- Licensure: Active and valid veterinary license in Saudi Arabia. (Any additional certifications or specialties are a plus.)
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of clinical experience as a Veterinarian.
