Position Title: Venue Sales Sr. Specialist

Department: Sponsorships - Commercial

Reports to: Commercial Director

Role Description

The Venue Sales Sr. Specialist will be Leads and supports venue sales operations by developing and executing strategic sales plans tailored to venue spaces. Responsible for identifying business opportunities, managing key accounts, and driving revenue growth through effective venue utilization, partnership development, and client relationship management.

Role Accountabilities

  • Develops venue sales strategies by analyzing market trends, past events, and client needs to optimize venue occupancy and profitability.
  • Prepares venue-specific sales plans, setting targets, timelines, and KPIs, and ensures alignment with overall commercial objectives.
  • Identifies and nurtures leads for venue rental opportunities including corporate events, exhibitions, entertainment, and private bookings.
  • Coordinates with marketing, operations, and facility teams to create compelling venue packages and tailored client proposals.
  • Manages client interactions from inquiry to contract closure, ensuring a seamless experience and high conversion rate.
  • Conducts site visits with potential clients, presents venue features and options, and negotiates booking terms and conditions.
  • Prepares and reviews commercial agreements for venue bookings, ensuring compliance with policies and client expectations.
  • Tracks sales performance, booking trends, and client feedback to prepare regular reports and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Maintains strong relationships with recurring clients, event organizers, and partners to maximize retention and long-term engagement.
  • Contributes to SOP updates and best practices for venue sales operations, improving efficiency and client satisfaction.

Role Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in venue sales or event space management
  • Proven expertise in sales planning and client negotiation within the venue or hospitality sector
  • Strong understanding of event operations, venue logistics, and client requirements
  • Skilled in identifying sales opportunities and converting leads into long-term business relationships
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and CRM management skills
