Job description

Vendor Management Specialist is responsible for supporting procurement system activities, generating reports/dashboard, maintaining and interpreting data, and turning it into useful information to improve the quality and efficiency of data systems. The role also includes monitoring performance, implementing quality control plans, item creation, supplier registration, and supplier evaluation.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Ensure the company's procurement policies and procedures are followed.
  • Collect, interpret, and analyze data.
  • Prepare and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  • Identify patterns and trends in data sets.
  • Define new data collection and analysis processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate purchase and pricing records in the procurement system.
  • Ensure the purchase cycle is completed with the highest standards.
  • Assess and analyze risks in the purchase cycle.
  • Review, compare, and analyze products and services to be purchased.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

  • Experience as a Vendor Management Specialist, data analyst, or in a related field.
  • Experience in the hotel and catering industry is preferred.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP is preferred.

Skills/Attributes:

  • Proficiency in data models and reporting software such as Power BI and Excel.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets.
  • Strong report writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
