Description

JOB DUTIES STATEMENTS :

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Performs clinical duties as per assigned clinical privileges.
  • Assesses patients thoroughly (clinical, socioeconomic, psychological, and functional assessments) as per DSFH policies and documents assessments in medical records.
  • Develops and documents a plan of care based on evidence and standards of care in patients' records.
  • Ensures timely implementation of the plan of care.
  • Becomes the most responsible physician (MRP) for inpatients under his/her care.
  • Develops discharge plans early and involves discharge planning services as needed.
  • Assesses inpatients daily, documents assessments and plans using SOAP format as per policies.
  • Responds to medical consultations promptly and documents interventions accordingly.
  • Ensures timely completion and authentication of discharge summaries and patient education on discharge instructions and medications.
  • Provides education to patients and families, documenting in records.
  • Attends hospital duties and responds to calls as per schedule.
  • Participates in departmental and staff meetings, contributing ideas for improvement.
  • Prepares medical reports as per policies.
  • Contributes to teaching rounds and activities as requested.
  • Maintains patient confidentiality at all times.
  • Adheres to organizational policies, representing DSFH professionally in the community.
  • Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
  • Demonstrates compassionate communication, focusing on patient-centered care.

  • Performs duties aligned with Person Centered Care values.
  • Follows policies, plans, and programs within Fakeeh Care.
  • Adheres to code of conduct and ethical standards outlined in policies.
  • Completes mandatory education at least one month before expiration.
  • Maintains updated knowledge on quality, safety, accreditation, and documentation systems.

Qualifications

  • Completed structured training in the specialty or subspecialty at a recognized medical center, obtaining the highest clinical degree in that field.
  • Gained required experience according to Saudi Commission for Health Specialties standards.
  • Holds a valid Saudi Medical License.
