Job summary

A leading oil and gas service provider in Dammam is seeking a Valve Greasing Technician to ensure proper maintenance of valves by applying suitable sealants. The ideal candidate will have ITI or equivalent education, with a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a similar role within the oil and gas sector. This position involves routine checks, maintaining equipment, and ensuring optimal functionality of sealants and flushing pumps.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a similar job.
• Knowledge of valve repair and maintenance procedures.

Responsibilities

• Check valve condition and line pressure.
• Flush valve with cleaner and replace defective fittings.
• Apply sealants to stop valve leakage.

Job description

Overview

Valve Greasing technician’s primary responsibility is to ensure to stop of leaking / passing of valve by applying suitable sealants.

Responsibilities

1. Check the condition of the valve and passing condition.
2. Check the line pressure.
3. Check the injection fitting for its functionality and start flushing the valve with flush/ cleaner.
4. Replace defective injection fitting with new one.
5. Wait for 2-4 hours and start applying Sealant at seat area to stop the leakage.
6. In case, leakage doesn’t stop, apply special cavity sealants to fill in body to stop the leakage.
7. Maintain the equipment and tools in safe manner.
8. Perform routine maintenance on sealant and Flush pumps to ensure they are in good working condition.

Skills & Qualifications

• Qualification: ITI- or any equivalent / OR Secondary pass.
• Min 3-4 years’ experience in similar job in Oil & Gas sector.
