Job description

Are you the new Sales-minded team player we are looking for?

Valmet Flow Control business line delivers mission-critical flow control technologies and services for the continuously evolving needs of various process industries. We help our customers to improve their process performance and environmental efficiency, and to ensure the safe flow of materials.

We are looking for a Valve Controls and Actuators Sales Manager to strengthen our Flow Control team in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for successful development and growth of Valmet VC&A business in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain and report to the Sales & Services Director.

Your Activities, In Detail

  • Sales and Marketing of Valmet’s Valve Controls and Actuators VC&A (Smart technology & Actuation) products
  • Achieve target sales & order volumes with target profit level.
  • Ensure necessary product approvals with all End-Users, EPC’s and listing on all project vendor lists.
  • Map the market; business potential for Valmet and identify business development initiatives for end users, EPCs and OEMs
  • Plan & execute Annual action plans for end users, EPCs and OEMs.
  • Create and develop high level customer contacts.
  • Develop strong distributor network for Valmet VC&A products
  • Co-ordinate customer seminars, events and other marketing initiatives.
  • Follow business trends & competitors' action, and report & implement necessary action.
  • To secure preferred vendor position for all Global local projects with contractors from FEED to Awarded, where end-user is based in the responsible countries.
  • Ensure effective inter-company project communication.
  • Provide management with necessary reports.
  • Capability to have technical review of inquiry documents.
  • Capability to reply to quotation technical queries.
  • Commercial Contract Review and Negotiations.

What You Need To Be Successful In The Role

  • BSc/MSc in Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of overall sales experience in valves in the Middle East and 5 years sales management experience in Saudi Arabia.
  • Team player.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Organized and results driven.
