Job description

Job Description:
We are looking for a qualified Utility Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot utility systems in a rockwool manufacturing facility. The role focuses on ensuring the reliable performance of critical utility equipment such as chillers, cooling towers, Compressors, air conditioning systems, and pumps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular inspection, maintenance, and repair of utility systems including chillers, cooling towers, HVAC systems, circulation pumps, compressors, and related piping.
  • Monitor system performance and take corrective action to maintain efficiency and operational reliability.
  • Conduct daily checks on system pressures, temperatures, and fluid levels.
  • Respond promptly to utility-related breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
  • Support energy-saving initiatives and monitor utility consumption.
  • Maintain accurate logs, checklists, and service records.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance and production teams for smooth utility support.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, HVAC, or Utility Systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in utility maintenance, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of chillers (air- and water-cooled), cooling towers, AC systems, and pump operations.
  • Basic understanding of control panels and instrumentation related to utility systems.
  • Good troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
