Qualifications

Job description

Job Scope

The role involves managing all tasks related to the maintenance of the plant, ensuring the sustainability of operations. This includes implementing preventative and corrective maintenance for plant utilities and HVAC systems, which encompass AHU and its ducting system, hot water boilers, steam boilers, air compressors, pumps, chillers, and the purified water system. The successful candidate will ensure that all systems are operating in accordance with approved procedures.

Job Requirements

Education

A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent field is required.

Language

Proficiency in written, spoken, and reading Arabic and English is essential.

Professional Knowledge

1. Familiarity with systems such as ICH, GMP, GLP, and WHO standards.
2. Awareness of Ministry of Health Regulations.
3. Understanding of International and EU Regulations.

Executive & Technical Duties

1. Conduct periodic visits to areas under preventive maintenance to assess the quality of maintenance performed and ensure proper workflow.
2. Endorse preventive maintenance work and document all activities in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
3. Troubleshoot and resolve defects in production machinery and utilities, including control issues.
4. Review and create maintenance and calibration instructions, including drafting all related SOPs.
5. Participate in the preparation and analysis of necessary spare parts lists.
