  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of utility systems (HVAC, boilers, compressors, Chillers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
  • Monitor utility consumption and implement strategies for efficiency improvements.
  • Schedule regular maintenance and emergency repairs for utility equipment.
  • Lead utility-related projects, such as upgrades or installations of new systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies or processes to enhance utility efficiency.
  • Work closely with production, maintenance, facility management and engineering teams to support manufacturing operations.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for utility services and equipment.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of utility technicians, providing training, assigning tasks, and evaluating performance.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or an equivalent education.
  • Proven experience in utility management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of utility systems, energy management, and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and budgeting.
