Utilities Manager

Job Description

1. Oversee the operation and maintenance of utility systems (HVAC, boilers, compressors, chillers, hydraulic and pneumatic systems).
2. Monitor utility consumption and implement strategies for efficiency improvements.
3. Schedule regular maintenance and emergency repairs for utility equipment.
4. Lead utility-related projects, such as upgrades or installations of new systems.
5. Evaluate and recommend new technologies or processes to enhance utility efficiency.
6. Work closely with production, maintenance, facility management, and engineering teams to support manufacturing operations.
7. Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for utility services and equipment.
8. Supervise and mentor a team of utility technicians, providing training, assigning tasks, and evaluating performance.

Skills

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or an equivalent education.
2. Proven experience in utility management within a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong understanding of utility systems, energy management, and regulatory compliance.
4. Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
5. Proficiency in data analysis and budgeting.
