About This Role

We welcome expressions of interest from UAV Sensor Instructors for our UAS training delivery programs in Saudi Arabia. Please note this role is open for registration of interest only; we will not proceed with hiring until there is a confirmed need.

The UAV Sensor Instructor will work as part of a team to provide academic and practical instruction in a classroom environment. You will utilize your extensive aviation and training experience, along with computer skills (text & graphics), to develop, deliver, and maintain multimedia and computer-assisted courseware packages. This position is customer-facing, focusing on identifying and supporting customer needs. You will deliver RPA system training using various instructional aids, including multimedia presentations, system components, and simulators, at Al Majma’ah, Saudi Arabia.

Minimum requirements

• Current or previously rated military sensor operator or equivalent civil sensor/mission operator experience.
• Previous experience as a sensor operator (USAF speciality code “K”, RAF Q qualifications, or civilian equivalent).
• Minimum of 1000 hours total flying/operating time (simulated and/or live).
• At least 2 years of instructional experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
• Ability to generate effective oral and written presentations on complex subjects.

Desired requirements

• Experience with a broad spectrum of UAV sensor capabilities, types, sizes, roles, and complexities.
• Flying/operating time on fixed-wing UAVs.
• Instructional experience on fixed-wing UAVs.
• Ability to maintain cultural awareness and good relations with customers.
• Adaptability and innovation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural/multiagency environments.
• Strong customer orientation, even under adverse circumstances.

Security/administrative requirements

• Ability to obtain an employment visa for Saudi Arabia.
