A leading aviation training organization in Saudi Arabia seeks a UAV Sensor Instructor. The role involves delivering hands-on training and developing courseware for UAV operations. Candidates must have extensive aviation background, excellent instructional skills, and the ability to work in a multicultural environment. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to robust UAS training programs in a dynamic workplace.
We welcome expressions of interest from UAV Sensor Instructors for our UAS training delivery programs in Saudi Arabia. Please note we are posting this role to allow interested parties to register interest. We will not be progressing with hiring into this role until we have a firm requirement to fill this position.
The UAV Sensor instructor will work as part of a team to provide academic and practical instruction in classroom environment. In this role you will use your extensive aviation experience, training experience, and varied computer skills (text & graphics), to develop, deliver, and maintain multi-media and computer-assisted courseware packages. This position is customer-facing and is focused on identifying and supporting customers needs and requests. Provides training to the customers at Al Majma ah, Saudi Arabia and resolves a broad range of issues in an autonomous manner. Delivers RPA system training in areas of expertise using a variety of instructional training aids in the classroom environment including the use of multimedia presentations (videos, slides, Power Point), system components and simulators.
Current/previously rated military sensor operator or with equivalent civil sensor/mission operator experience.
Previous experience as a sensor operator (USAF speciality code K , RAF Q qualifications or civilian equivalent)
Minimum of 1000 hours total flying/operating time (simulated and/or live)
Minimum of 2 years of instructional experience.
Ability to read, analyse, and interpret the most complex documents.
Ability to generate effective oral and written presentations and proposals on complex subjects.
Desired Requirements
Experience with a broad spectrum of sensor capabilities UAV types, sizes, roles, complexity.
Flying/operating time on fixed wing UAV type(s).
Instructional experience on fixed wing UAV type(s).
Ability to maintain cultural awareness and good relations with the customer.
Ability to adapt and innovate.
Ability to concentrate and work in a multicultural/multiagency environment.
Ability to maintain strong customer orientation under adverse circumstances.
Ability to respond to customer questions by carrying out research, leveraging team capabilities and delivering to an accurate and timely answer.
Ability to deal with some complex problems unsupervised.
Security/administrative requirements
Ability to obtain employment visa for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
