Job description

You will be responsible for developing and testing electronic products and systems for an extensive range of projects. These would include designing, controlling electrical systems and products, and developing and manufacturing processes as needed. Your job would also include managing engineering projects and delivering them on time, defining customer needs and requirements, and ensuring installation and applications are in line with in-house requirements as well as customer needs. You will collaborate with other engineers and departments on a daily basis, performing quality and performance analysis, summarizing data and reporting on test results; monitoring maintenance and inspection plans, and ensuring projects are running on time.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Designing, inspecting, testing, and updating electronic systems, components, equipment, and software.
• Liaising with engineers, other professionals, as well as clients to ensure quality projects are completed to specifications.
• Designing electrical components as per the specifications provided.
• Ensuring all equipment and products meet health and safety regulations.
• Observing existing processes and making recommendations for improvement.
• Developing effective maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures.
• Showing initiative and keeping up with advancements in Electronics.
• Representing the company at conferences and delivering presentations if required.
• Monitoring processes, systems, and staff, and punctually identifying problems.
• Establishing relationships with staff, vendors, suppliers, and other professionals in the field.
• Writing specifications, instructions, and reports, and handling other required administrative duties.
• Creating and maintaining reports on daily operations.
• Component selection and feasibility studies to ensure we have reliable and stable component sources.

Experience and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic/Electrical or Automation Engineering with a focus area in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• C/C++ experience.
• Good knowledge of engineering design programs such as KiCad, Altium Designer, and Spice.
• Attentive to detail and critically minded.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle tight deadlines.
