Job summary

Job description

**SMP Opportunity in Oil & Gas Company**

Job Purpose:

Schedule all TA jobs and participate in developing and executing the major integrated Turnaround schedule.

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Follow EHS&S rules, policies, and expectations.
  2. Follow TA Work Processes.
  3. Attend schedule integration meetings with stakeholders and contractors.
  4. Provide schedule status updates in all TA phases: pre, main, and post activities.
  5. Develop, implement, use, and monitor P2P TA schedules, including pre-SD, main-SD, and post-SD schedules; provide warnings on deviations.
  6. Use schedule reporting TA templates and layouts.
  7. Set and review parameters; lead forecasting of required resources based on critical path analysis.
  8. Review and approve job steps, resources, durations, etc., for completeness before acceptance and implementation in the integrated TA Schedule.
  9. Identify and implement resource leveraging and optimization opportunities.
  10. Coach planners to ensure consistency, completeness, and accuracy of all planned jobs related to the timeline.
  11. Work with all schedulers assigned to the same TA team(s).
  12. Ensure accurate input into the TA integrated schedule.
  13. Provide progress feedback.
  14. Review add-on jobs for implementation consequences.
  15. Participate in critique meetings and gate reviews to ensure a successful Turnaround schedule.

Education, Qualification & Experience / Certificates & Skills:

  1. Education: Two-year associate's Technical Degree.
  2. Experience: Minimum 5 years as Maintenance/TA Planner, Senior Planner or Work Coordinator, and Maintenance Scheduler.
  3. Minimum 5 to 8 years of hands-on Primavera P6 and Microsoft Projects scheduling experience.
  4. Minimum 2 full cycle major TAs as a full-time TA Scheduler.
