Truck Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Truck Maintenance Technician to inspect, diagnose, and repair various types of trucks. The ideal candidate will ensure that all vehicles remain in excellent working condition, following safety regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on trucks, including engines, brakes, transmissions, and electrical systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools.
• Conduct oil changes, tire rotations, brake replacements, and other preventive maintenance tasks.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.
• Identify parts and components that require replacement and order them as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Assist in emergency roadside repairs as required.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a truck mechanic, diesel mechanic, or similar role.
• Knowledge of truck engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy parts and tools.
• Valid driver&aposs license (CDL preferred).

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, with potential for overtime and on-call work.
