Job Summary:
The Treasury and Cash Management Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company’s cash flow, banking relationships, liquidity management, and financial risk mitigation. This role will also involve managing heavily administrative banking tasks, ensuring efficient handling of transactions, and optimizing cash utilization across the SPL.
Key Responsibilities:
Treasury & Cash Management:
- Monitor and manage the company’s daily cash flow and liquidity requirements.
- Develop and implement cash management strategies to optimize cash flow and working capital.
- Forecast short-term and long-term cash needs and ensure the availability of funds for operational and strategic purposes.
- Assess and improve the efficiency of payment processes, including supplier payments and payroll disbursements.
Banking & Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain strong relationships with banks and financial institutions, handling all administrative banking tasks such as account openings, closures, signatory updates, and compliance documentation.
- Negotiate and manage banking facilities, including loans, credit lines, and trade finance instruments.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations, reporting requirements, and internal controls.
- Work with banks to resolve issues related to transactions, bank fees, and service improvements.
- Monitor and mitigate foreign exchange, interest rate, and liquidity risks.
- Implement and oversee cash management controls to reduce fraud risks.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Prepare periodic cash flow forecasts and treasury reports for management.
- Analyze banking costs and recommend cost-saving initiatives.
- Provide insights into cash flow trends and support strategic decision-making.
Systems & Process Improvements:
- Implement automation and digital banking solutions to streamline treasury operations.
- Enhance cash forecasting models and reporting tools to improve accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in treasury, cash management, or corporate finance.
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, cash forecasting, and financial risk management.
- Proficiency in treasury management systems, banking platforms, and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
