A leading travel and tourism company is seeking a Travel & Tourism Counsellor to manage worldwide travel arrangements including air, rail, and accommodations. The role offers an opportunity to develop and promote tour products while ensuring high-quality client service. Candidates should possess at least 6 years of experience, fluent English, and readiness to join immediately.
About This Job
The Travel & Tourism Counsellor will be responsible for worldwide travel including overseas accommodation, all air, rail, car hire, and associated support services.
Additionally, responsible for developing, planning, promoting, administering, and selling tour products evaluating products for quality, and making recommendations for continued use. Also, advising clients on clear tour packages and promotions and making the necessary bookings and reservations ensure quality service delivery and client satisfaction. Accepting requests from clients for all forms.
Key Accountabilities:
• Take an accurate brief of the client's booking requirement and research the best option, offering a choice where possible.
• Ensure that the appropriate accurate advice is offered to clients by their intended travel plans and facilitate the necessary application accordingly.
• Provide customers with advice or publications containing travel information, such as local customs, points of interest, or foreign country regulations.
• Build long and successful relationships with both existing and new clients to ensure the continued growth of the travel service.
Internal Processes with (Productivity/Quality/Compliance/Reporting):
• Sell domestic and international air tickets and assist in other travel arrangements, such as car, hotel, and tour/cruise package reservations.
• Remain informed of all airline rules and regulations and current affairs and communicate information to clients accurately and appropriately.
• Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet company and department requirements, policies, and standards.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
• Manage corporate Clints requests
• Achieve monthly target with high quality results
Qualifications:
· Saudi/Expat
· Speaks Fluent English
· Not less than 6 years’ experience in the same field.
· Ready to join Immediately.
Skills/Attributes/Requirements:
· Fluent in English, both oral and written
· Good knowledge of Amadeus, TBO, WebBeds and others
· Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
