The opportunity
Managing execution and tracking of procurement activities within the team, ensuring quality of delivery service at improved transactional costs, and minimizing risks related to quality and financial exposure by adhering to quality and commercial procedures and company guidelines.
How you’ll make an impact
- Process and ensure the accurate application of Group PL guidelines and local Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to drive improvements in cost, quality, delivery, and working capital (payment terms, lead times, order quantities, and purchased material inventory). Propose improvements to SOPs whenever opportunities for optimization are identified.
- Coach and mentor the functional team to ensure they have the necessary skills and competencies to effectively carry out PL activities.
- Oversee PL technology systems and tools, including the implementation, operation, maintenance, and performance of Supply Chain systems. Ensure full utilization of SAP Ariba for supplier relationship management, sharing supplier information, and identifying high-performing suppliers in accordance with procedures.
- Investigate problems, identify root causes, and recommend improvements to existing and planned PL processes.
- Lead and develop people, ensuring the team is well-organized, skilled, and motivated. Support HR in talent management and succession planning within the area.

Your background
- A bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience managing procurement activities in the power, energy, or manufacturing industry.
- Preferred certifications include CPSM or PMP, with experience in SAP, Documentation Management Systems, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong collaborative, solutions-oriented approach, and excellent communication skills.
- Proven knowledge of P2P processes and systems.
- Results-oriented with demonstrated implementation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and uphold compliance and ethics.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English is required.
