About the role:

To ensure the distribution of finished goods to depots across KSA and the Gulf is carried out in accordance with sales requirements, agreed service levels, internationally recognized quality standards, regulatory obligations whilst focusing on remaining within budget limitations in a safe and compliant manner.

Area of responsibility:

  • Create maintenance and improve working practices within the area of responsibility through leading by example by ensuring safety is at the forefront of every activity carried out.
  • Directly manage and optimize the manpower resources to achieve targets by motivating the workforce to meet current and future business challenges. Develop and maintain a succession plan targeting local employees for "key" department roles.
  • Ensure that while meeting or exceeding the Transport Operations and Logistics requirements, Operating cost per unit km target and budget is achieved.
  • Ensure staff's awareness of quality systems and standards are in place, and all staff adhere to them.
  • Ensure that work processes are reviewed and studied thoroughly through total staff involvement to improve work efficiency and the environment.
  • A Team environment exists where internal and external customer expectations are clearly understood and strived to be exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Transport, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • CPC - Transport Manager
  • 6+ years of progressive leadership experience in transport, logistics, or fleet operations.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.

Desirable Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities.
  • Proficiency in digital fleet management systems and sustainable transport practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
