Job description

Strategic Advisory

- Develop and maintain high-level business acumen on transactional business.

- Co-design and monitor, with the business, the quarterly, yearly, and strategic roadmap (forecast) to ensure profitable growth and target achievement.

- Monitor channel coverage, distribution, optimized allocation of resources, and financial performance/profitability (e.g., product, sales region).

- Challenge and support commercial and marketing strategies, including AMSP and strategic initiatives, to capture profitable growth.

- Monitor action plans, understand environmental changes, root causes of performance issues or deviations from the roadmap, risks, and opportunities.

- Decide on corrective or compensatory actions with the business, channels, and regions; support go/no-go decisions on specific actions or opportunities to reach priorities and targets.

- Monitor pricing performance and support business teams in taking appropriate actions.

Business Performance Analysis and Collaboration with Other Finance Subfunctions

- Contribute to closing activities with the performance team to ensure true and fair P&L reporting.

- Assist the business in understanding commercial performance across different business models.

- Follow up on performance indicators (topline, profitability, etc.) across various dimensions such as customer, channel, and offers.

- Liaise with other finance sub-functions, including credit, treasury, internal/external audit, accounting, and GSC finance.

Transformation and Other Key Areas

- Build strong relationships with stakeholders (e.g., sales, marketing, pricing), effectively communicate financial insights, and foster a culture of financial transparency and accountability.

- Participate in global or zone initiatives, taking full ownership and leadership of assignments, if any.

- Be a team player with a commercial mindset, dynamic, proactive, collaborative, curious, and open-minded.

- Maintain a digital mindset, focusing on standardization, automation, and simplification.

Governance

- Ensure business compliance and ethics, support the business in risk detection and management.

Experience and Skills We Are Looking For:

- Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration or equivalent.

- Proficiency in English and Arabic.

- 5 years of experience in business partnering, FP&A, finance controlling, and audit from reputable MNCs or Big 4 firms.

- Good business acumen regarding transactional business.

- Strong stakeholder management, organizational, and communication skills.
