Trade Marketing Executive Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Trade Marketing Executive to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing brand strategies based on channel, customer, and shopper insights to meet business objectives. Your duties will include developing pricing and promotion strategies and overseeing their implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement country, channel, and customer pricing and promotion policies to realize brand pricing strategies.
  • Conduct pricing diagnostics and recommend strategies for optimization.
  • Analyze price pack architecture to identify opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and adjust pricing and promotion mechanics accordingly.
  • Define and track objectives for distribution, pricing, shelving, and merchandising by category and channel.
  • Analyze retail audit data to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Maintain relationships with external data providers to ensure data quality.
  • Develop annual category strategies and participate in joint business planning with customers and distributors.
  • Oversee execution of new product launch plans and monitor their performance.
  • Manage the below-the-line advertising and promotion budget, including planning and execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in trade marketing or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analytics and advanced Excel.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
  • Business resilience and perseverance.
  • Understanding of multi-channel marketing and category management.
  • Project management capabilities.
