Job Description

Wood is currently recruiting for a TPE IV / Architectural Engineer with experience in oil and gas, hydrocarbon refinery, offshore, mining, or infrastructure industries, with engineering design project experience.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for building design following green building concepts and LEED principles.
2. Originate new and revise existing engineering deliverables.
3. Review engineering deliverables for compliance with company procedures, standards, and checklists.
4. Supervise engineering work produced by junior team members.
5. Participate in training related to the job as required.
6. Plan and complete work within allocated man-hours, avoiding slippage.
7. Coordinate and communicate effectively with the Project Manager and team members.
8. Delegate work and manage team billability.
9. Coordinate with all disciplines to incorporate their input into deliverables.
10. Conduct site visits to verify conditions and perform as-built activities.
11. Manage deliverables submission, ensuring quality and proper record management.
12. Prepare technical reports and presentations.
13. Maintain knowledge of Aramco, Sabic, Royal Commission, SBC, and HCIS standards.
14. Participate in technical bid evaluations, review vendor documents, and manage subcontract scope.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in architecture or architectural engineering.
2. Minimum of 10 years of experience, including 5 years in the Middle East.
3. Knowledge of Saudi Aramco codes and standards, with excellent safety awareness.
4. Extensive knowledge of international codes and standards, especially the International Building Code.
5. Extensive knowledge of Saudi Arabia's codes and standards, mainly the Saudi Building Code.
6. Extensive knowledge of industrial buildings.
7. Proficiency in BIM/Revit, AutoCAD, Microstation, 3D Studio Max, and Navisworks.
