Job Description
Wood is currently recruiting for a TPE I / Graduate Offshore Instrument Engineer to work in our office in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities
- Interest in design activities within an office-based environment.
- Work under close supervision, providing design assistance to the team.
- Interest in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries.
- Resolve specialty-related engineering issues by applying accepted engineering principles, codes, and standards.
- Desire to learn and understand the codes and standards required for the job.
- Thorough knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
- Responsibilities will be aligned with individual capabilities and experience level.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment with good communication skills.
- Open to field visits and potential field assignments at plant or construction sites.
Qualifications
- Degree in Instrumentation / Control Engineering.
- Graduate-level understanding of engineering practices, design methods, and calculations.
- Knowledge of industry trends and economic conditions affecting the field.
- Ability to interpret technical information relevant to their engineering discipline.
- Application of theoretical knowledge in practical contexts.
