TPE I / Graduate Offshore Instrumentation Engineer

Job Description

Wood is currently recruiting for a TPE I / Graduate Offshore Instrument Engineer to work in our office in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

1. Interest in design activities within an office-based environment.
2. Work under close supervision, providing design assistance to the team.
3. Interest in the oil/gas, hydrocarbon, refinery, offshore, or infrastructure industries.
4. Resolve specialty-related engineering issues by applying accepted engineering principles, codes, and standards.
5. Desire to learn and understand the codes and standards required for the job.
6. Thorough knowledge of engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, design details, international codes and standards, procedures, and specifications.
7. Responsibilities will be aligned with individual capabilities and experience level.
8. Collaborate effectively within a team environment with good communication skills.
9. Open to field visits and potential field assignments at plant or construction sites.

Qualifications

1. Degree in Instrumentation / Control Engineering.
2. Graduate-level understanding of engineering practices, design methods, and calculations.
3. Knowledge of industry trends and economic conditions affecting the field.
4. Ability to interpret technical information relevant to their engineering discipline.
5. Application of theoretical knowledge in practical contexts.
