Job description

The Thermal Design Engineer is responsible for designing, analysing, and optimising to ensure efficient heat transfer, minimise energy losses, and maintain optimal temperatures in Heat Exchanger Manufacturing Industries.

1)Thermal & Process designs various types of ASME & TEMA Heat Exchangers based on Customer datasheets and project specifications, utilizing HTRI and other software.

2)Mechanical calculations for the Heat exchangers in accordance with Design Code, Client datasheet and Specifications.

3)Preparation of mechanical data sheets for the Heat exchangers.

4)Preparation of Tube/Tubesheet layouts, selection of baffles, including baffle layouts and others.

5)Thermal rating of Heat exchangers.

6)Mechanical calculations for the Heat exchangers in accordance with the Design Code, Client datasheet, and Specifications.

7)Preparation / Review of Material Take off, Material specifications and Purchase requisitions including Technical Delivery Conditions.

8)Optimization of process/thermal design & getting the approvals from clients/consultants for the optimum design calculations.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge

BE Mechanical or Chemical, Masters in Thermal Engineering (Prefrable)
