Job description

The opportunity

You as a Testing Technician will be part of Hitachi Energy's High Voltage business based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for all testing activities of capacitor banks (HV) by ensuring safety, efficiency, quality, and productivity to meet the required standards.

How You’ll Make An Impact

1. Perform HV testing activities according to test instructions, drawings, checklists, guidelines, and customer order data.
2. Follow all required test instructions and protocols.
3. Adhere strictly to safety rules and regulations during activities.
4. Apply lean manufacturing methods (5S, waste reduction, Kaizen, etc.).
5. Report safety hazards using the “Intelex” tool and quality issues (“NCR”) in SAP/MES.
6. Read and interpret HV drawings.
7. Complete all required training courses such as safety and Lean Six Sigma (white belt).
8. Communicate and collaborate actively with colleagues.
9. Perform any additional tasks assigned by management to fulfill job requirements.

Your background

1. Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
2. 0-3 years of experience in a similar role.
