Role Summary
- Drive recommendations and promote Dexcom products for Diabetes by supporting healthcare professionals (HCPs).
- Provide training and in-service support for Dexcom products and related devices to HCPs and patients (up to 15% of time).
- Maximize strategic partnerships with other companies.
- Manage the territory effectively, allocating time based on customer and business needs.
- Utilize CRM daily to identify business opportunities.
- Implement marketing campaigns and collaborate on local promotional activities such as conferences and meetings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Customer, Patient & Industry Knowledge
- Stay informed about the industry, market trends, healthcare regulations, and competitor activities; share insights within Dexcom.
- Understand customer segments and patient experiences, including unmet needs and barriers.
- Use technology to identify trends and support growth strategies.
- Build strong relationships with account managers, management, and key customers.
- Keep up-to-date with hospital procurement processes.
- Train hospital nursing staff on product use.
Product & Therapy Knowledge
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Dexcom products and diabetes management.
- Participate in clinical and product knowledge assessments.
- Execute initiatives aligned with company priorities, including product launches.
- Differentiate Dexcom offerings from competitors clearly.
Business Planning & Administration
- Prioritize and execute quarterly and cycle objectives.
- Analyze market data to meet or exceed goals.
- Ensure accurate communication of information to customers.
- Complete call reports promptly.
- Propose and monitor regional investments for ROI.
Account Management
- Develop projects to support Dexcom's strategy within the region.
- Work with the Commercial Head on market access and key accounts.
- Manage tender processes with support.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve account objectives.
- Engage with customers to identify needs and provide solutions.
- Follow Dexcom SOPs and utilize technology for trend analysis and activity targeting.
Administration
- Complete administrative tasks regularly.
- Maintain CRM records.
- Process expenses timely.
- Complete required training and regulatory courses.
Budget & Project Investment
- Manage personal budget for the territory.
- Support ad hoc projects within the region.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in diabetes or healthcare, with a proven success record.
- Strong data analysis skills and experience with CRM and MS Office.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Effective communication in Arabic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the local diabetes market.
- Knowledge of tender markets and hospital procurement.
- Degree in Life Sciences or Business, or relevant professional qualifications.
Language Skills
Must communicate effectively in Arabic, interpret technical documents, and deliver presentations confidently.
