Role Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Dammam and Eastern regions, focusing on:
- Driving recommendations and usage of Dexcom products among healthcare professionals (HCPs).
- Providing training and in-service support for Dexcom products and related accessories to HCPs and patients (max 10-15% of time).
- Maximizing strategic partnerships with other companies.
- Managing the territory effectively based on customer and business needs.
- Using CRM systems daily to identify business opportunities.
- Executing marketing campaigns and collaborating on local promotional activities such as conferences and meetings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Customer, Patient & Industry Knowledge
- Stay informed about industry trends, healthcare regulations, and competitor activities, sharing insights within Dexcom.
- Understand customer segments and patient experiences, including unmet needs.
- Leverage technology to identify trends and support regional growth.
- Build strong relationships with account managers, management, and key customers.
- Understand hospital procurement processes.
- Train hospital nursing staff on product use.
Therapy Area & Product Knowledge
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Dexcom products and diabetes management.
- Participate in clinical and product knowledge assessments.
- Implement initiatives aligned with company strategy and customer needs, including product launches.
- Differentiating Dexcom products from competitors.
Business Planning & Administration
- Prioritize and execute objectives on a cycle and quarterly basis.
- Analyze market data to optimize performance and meet goals.
- Ensure accurate and timely communication with customers.
- Complete call reports and administrative tasks within deadlines.
- Propose and monitor investments in the region.
Account Management
- Develop projects to enhance Dexcom's regional strategy.
- Work with the Commercial Head on market access and key account targeting.
- Manage tender processes with support from leadership.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve account objectives.
- Engage with customers to identify needs and gaps.
- Act as an informational resource on Dexcom products and services.
- Follow Dexcom Standard Operating Procedures.
- Use technology to support sales growth.
Administration
- Complete administrative tasks regularly.
- Maintain CRM records.
- Process expenses promptly.
- Complete training and regulatory requirements.
Budget Management & Project Investment
- Manage personal territory budget.
- Build cases for ad hoc projects within the territory.
Qualifications & Experience
To succeed, candidates should have:
- At least 3 years of experience in diabetes or a related healthcare field with a proven record of achieving targets.
- Successful experience in healthcare sales or related roles.
- Strong data analysis and territory management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Fluency in Arabic, both spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the local diabetes market.
- Knowledge of hospital procurement and tender processes.
- Degree in Life Sciences or Business.
- Relevant professional certifications.
Language Skills
Must communicate effectively in Arabic, with the ability to interpret technical documents, prepare reports, and present to groups.
