Requirements
Management
- Oversee the complete temporary structures work activities of the division, ensuring resource allocation is sufficient and efficient based on project complexity.
- Manage fabrication elements required for projects, including customization through advice or subcontractors.
- Plan, schedule, staff, and coordinate shifts to meet delivery deadlines.
- Develop and implement standard fabrication and erection procedures to optimize efficiency and safety.
- Implement quality control measures and inspections to meet quality objectives.
- Ensure products are prepared following best practices, with quality controlled and inspected at each stage.
- Organize repair and routine maintenance of stock and equipment, maintaining proper records.
- Maintain standard elements in good condition for ready use.
- Manage stock of standard elements, ensuring inventory records are accurate.
- Recommend resources, products, and training to meet future departmental demands.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures.
Coordination
- Coordinate with related departments regarding scope of work and delivery schedules, ensuring smooth transfer to the team.
- Conduct regular meetings with interdepartmental managers to discuss ongoing projects, site build-up, and optimize transport and manpower.
Administrative Follow-up
- Ensure timely submission of departmental requests (purchase, manpower, additional resources).
- Monitor and allocate stocks through stores and warehousing.
- Track outside labor and sourcing, recommending additional suppliers as needed.
- Coordinate with HR and Finance for worker documentation and travel arrangements outside UAE.
- Monitor workers' vacations and follow up with HR.
Cost Control
- Provide project cost estimates and advise on cost-effective solutions.
- Manage project costs within defined budgets.
