Description

The opportunity

This role involves administering, consulting, and negotiating product/service contracts with external customers. The candidate will develop pre-sales contract strategies and collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and business management teams to structure proposals, contracts, and bid documents. Negotiating contracts aligned with business objectives and managing amendments and renegotiations to accommodate scope changes are key responsibilities. The role also includes ensuring contractual obligations are fulfilled. Responsibilities may include managing projects and processes, working independently with limited supervision, coaching lower-level professionals, and handling complex problems.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Formulate competitive bids, estimates, and quotations, considering the best product mix and technical and commercial factors for each situation.

  • Ensure tenders are well documented promptly with appropriate detail, including full and accurate costs.

  • Manage preparation of technical, financial, and project management aspects of bids, indicating prices and trading conditions.

  • Identify potential risks in bids, quotations, estimates, and related contracts.

  • Participate in the Risk Review process according to company policy.

  • Identify and evaluate potential vendors and supplier offers to ensure they meet specifications.

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain Management regarding requests to subcontractors.

  • Collect information needed for proposals, including technical and cost elements.

Your background

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

  • At least 5 years of experience in the electrical substation field.
