Job Description

SaudConsult is currently seeking a Telecom Design Engineer with proven experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Building, and Infrastructure sectors. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to prestigious projects across the Kingdom under a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.

Bachelor’s Degree (B.Tech/B.Eng) in Electronics & Communication or Telecommunication Engineering

8–15 years of relevant experience in the Telecom discipline, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed engineering design packages for telecom systems such as:

• CCTV and security systems

• Telephone and PABX systems

• Access control, intrusion detection, and public address systems

• LAN/WAN, fibre optics, and backbone cabling networks

• Develop drawings, layouts, block diagrams, interconnection diagrams, and system architecture

• Perform calculations and equipment selection based on project requirements and industry standards

• Coordinate with electrical, instrumentation, and civil teams for interface requirements

• Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco Standards, IEC, ITU, TIA/EIA, and NFPA codes

• Participate in Pre-FEED, FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Tendering stages

• Respond to technical clarifications, support procurement, and review vendor documents

Preferred Skills:

• Strong understanding of telecom design engineering

• Familiarity with Aramco project execution processes

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
