Summary

We are looking for a Technology Teacher to join our dynamic and successful technology department. The role involves teaching high school students.

Position Duties

The Successful Candidate Will Be Able To Effectively

• Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection).
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with a clearly defined and documented curriculum.
• Maintain attendance records, grades, and other required documentation.
• Evaluate and grade students' work and assignments.
• Administer and grade examinations.
• Assist students requiring extra help outside of class.
• Monitor and record student progress.
• Respond to individual needs and abilities within the classroom.
• Facilitate classroom discussions.
• Review and update curricula, course content, and instructional methods.
• Collaborate with colleagues on teaching and research issues.
• Demonstrate creativity in teaching.
• Participate in academic or administrative committees related to institutional policies and departmental matters.
• Maintain a safe learning environment at all times.
• Uphold and promote the ISG Assessment Beliefs, including the purpose of assessment, feedback, and data-driven instruction.
• Support students in embodying the ISG Profile of Graduates traits such as leadership, collaboration, individuality, open-mindedness, balance, integrity, growth mindset, and critical thinking.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Vice Principal.

Qualifications and Knowledge

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science (Master’s preferred).
• Teaching certification.

• Experience as a technology teacher.

• Excellent command of English, both written and oral.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Maturity in handling various situations.
• High confidentiality and loyalty.
