Overview:
The Technology Platform Sr. Engineer, develops, and maintains ADC’s internal and external digital platforms. This role is responsible for building scalable, resilient, and secure platforms that support product delivery, service orchestration, and digital innovation across the business. The position works closely with architecture, product, and infrastructure teams to advance platform modernization, automation, and cloud-native practices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement core platform components for service enablement, integration, API management, and automation.
- Build and maintain scalable, cloud-native infrastructure using Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and security controls to ensure high availability and operational excellence.
- Contribute to defining engineering standards and promoting DevSecOps practices within platform initiatives.
- Collaborate with product and delivery teams to align platform capabilities with end-user experience and operational needs.
- Support platform lifecycle activities, including upgrades, migrations, and adoption of cloud services.
- Monitor platform KPIs related to performance, availability, and reliability, driving continuous improvement.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex issues and ensure platform stability and scalability.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (Master’s a plus).
Experience:
- +2 years in platform engineering, backend systems, or cloud infrastructure roles, with proven experience in delivering high-availability platforms.
Skills:
- Strong expertise in platform architecture, container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker), cloud services, and DevOps tooling.
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and optimize distributed systems.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with architecture, operations, and product teams.
