Technician IV, Mechanical

An exciting opportunity is available for a Mechanical Technician based in Hail, KSA, reporting directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Summary:

The technician will be responsible for routine and non-routine mechanical maintenance of moderate complexity, ensuring the availability of plant machinery and equipment. Responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance to keep equipment fully operational, adhering to quality, safety, and environmental standards and procedures. The technician should be capable of signing off on minor activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Use drawings and sketches to carry out basic mechanical maintenance activities.
2. Perform and monitor installations and mechanical repairs of moderate complexity.
3. Take measurements such as vibration, temperature, and other basic parameters in mechanical equipment.
4. Participate in calculations using workshop math and select appropriate size and grade of components.
5. Support planning activities by providing necessary materials for mechanical maintenance.
6. Assist in preparing mechanical maintenance programs and scheduling activities.
7. Use basic measurement and control instruments to make minor adjustments to mechanical equipment under supervision.
8. Participate in testing machinery and equipment according to specific rules and guidelines to eliminate defects.
9. Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE standards to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

1. Diploma in a relevant technical discipline, with professional/technical certifications or accreditation.
2. At least 4 years of experience with a Diploma or High School Certificate.
3. Recognized technical certification relevant to the discipline.
