An exciting opportunity is available for a Technician, Machining, based in Riyadh.

Summary:

We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Technician III, Machinist to join our team. You will participate in various projects, following plans and instructions from your line manager.

Must be knowledgeable in methods, equipment, and materials used in machining and fabrication.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  1. Review drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.
  2. Select appropriate machines and settings for tasks.
  3. Monitor production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
  4. Maintain inventory of completed products.
  5. Check output for quality assurance and document or discard defects.
  6. Identify the need for and perform machine maintenance and minor repairs.
  7. Maintain a safe and clean workstation.
  8. Analyze specification charts, samples, and drawings to understand requirements.
  9. Develop a plan of action to manufacture parts according to specifications.
  10. Measure and mark raw materials needed for manufacturing.
  11. Set up equipment required for each step of production.
  12. Operate equipment to carry out each manufacturing step correctly.
  13. Monitor the production process and intervene when problems arise.
  14. Inspect finished parts for flaws and defects.
  15. Maintain equipment located throughout the machine shop.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of mechanical/technical codes.
  • Understanding of technical safety protocols.
  • Familiarity with damage mechanisms and fitness for service assessments.
  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to take precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
