Position: Electrical Technician

An exciting opportunity is available for an Electrical Technician, based in Dammam, KSA, reporting directly to the Maintenance Superintendent.

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Electrical Technician responsible for carrying out minor electrical maintenance services using simple tools and equipment. Skills and knowledge are primarily gained through on-the-job experience with limited training requirements. Work is generally supervised, with limited scope for variation of work routines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Under supervision, repair and replace simple parts and sensors, making adjustments following procedures and equipment manuals.
2. Develop and apply basic skills and qualifications related to the job with the help of more senior technicians.
3. Install, dismantle, and make adjustments on electrical tools and equipment under supervision.
4. Comply with all relevant HSE standards to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
5. Verify simple and basic task results and track electrical issues to detect possible problems.
6. Take basic measurements in electrical equipment under supervision.
7. Use basic testing equipment and tools to test and troubleshoot under supervision.
8. Assist more senior department members in performing basic duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• General education and qualifications.
• Professional/technical certifications or accreditation in relevant discipline.
• 3 years of experience with a Diploma or High School Certificate.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

• High level of integrity.
• Ability to follow safety instructions.
