Technician 1

Role Purpose

A Technician Level 1 is expected to perform all maintenance and repairs to the required manufacturers standards.

Job Accountabilities & Activities

1. Independently carry out repairs, calibrations and troubleshooting on equipment.
2. Where required assist and support other team members to complete their assigned tasks.
3. Diagnose, analyse and rectify all types of faults, using manufacturers information.
4. Maintain required levels of Utilization, Productivity and Efficiency in line with Manufacturers standard times.
5. Ensure company/manufacturers policies and procedures are followed.
6. Maintain the highest level of professional standards when discussing work with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
7. Provide technical advice to customers and colleagues.
8. Comply with Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
9. Maintain a thorough and up to date knowledge of products and attend training courses.

Education & Certifications

1. High school education
2. Heavy vehicle technician or equivalent manufacturers qualification.

Required Years Of Experience

Over 8 years work experience repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles or equipment.
