Responsibilities:
- Work with the product support team to provide immediate responses to customer inquiries according to service standards.
- Provide technical support for custom development, user-defined functions, interfaces, reports, data migration scripts, and conversions.
- Employ debugging and troubleshooting skills to identify application issues.
- Support the application support team in troubleshooting reported issues.
- Advise partners on technical areas such as networks, configurations, and architectures.
- Assist in troubleshooting and performance analysis for reports, stored procedures, interfaces, conversions, data migration scripts, and user-defined functions.
- Escalate unresolved problems following current policies and procedures.
- Participate in preparing technical training materials and documentation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of customer satisfaction by gathering and escalating feedback.
- Enhance response times through improved communication and analytical skills.
- Participate in on-site technical training and support as required.
- Participate in 24-hour on-call support to ensure service availability.
- Support hospital business workflows experience is preferred.
- Assist in analyzing complex incident tickets to improve client experience.
- Support product and implementation teams by providing insights, testing, and reporting on product tickets.
Qualifications:
- Experience with hospital business workflows is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of InterSystems ObjectScript, routines, stored procedures, and objects.
- Understanding of IRIS tables and globals, including global mapping.
- Skills in diagnosing and improving performance issues in stored procedures, SQL queries, and data reports.
- Experience with web languages such as HTML and JavaScript.
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and database methodologies.
- HL7 technologies experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of Java or C++ programming languages.
- Experience in roles such as Developer, Quality Engineer, or Solutions Architect.
- Ability to produce technical documentation.
- Familiarity with Internet/Intranet concepts and Microsoft IIS.
- Experience with InterSystems products (IRIS, Ensemble) is required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
