- The Technical Project Manager is responsible for project execution as a technical project manager within the telecommunication domain.
- This includes project planning, implementation, risk identification and mitigation, and contract management.
- The role requires expertise in resource inventory management, assets management, Telco's cloud solutions, and core network operations.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on project performance, ensuring alignment with senior management objectives, identifying deviations, and implementing corrective actions to maintain project success.
- Ensure the successful delivery of complex technical projects of inventory management and asset management projects and optimizing projects and systems.
- Provide expert-level guidance and support to project teams to overcome challenges and achieve project objectives.
- Continuously improve project delivery processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end delivery of technical projects, including planning, resource allocation, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise to project teams, guiding them through technical challenges and ensuring the successful implementation of solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and IT, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.
- Develop and implement project management best practices, processes, and tools to enhance project delivery.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks and issues, and proactively address them to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Communicate project status, progress, and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project delivery success, such as on-time and on-budget delivery, customer satisfaction, and quality.
- Guide Technical teams on best practices of inventory management solutions.
- Regularly report on project performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, helping them navigate complex technical challenges in Asset LCM, Inventory, and resources management.
- Champion the adoption of modern technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve project delivery.
- Act as a subject matter expert in OSS solutions, Resources, Asset and Inventory management in addition to fault, performance, and service quality management.
- Contribute to the design and development of technical solutions, leveraging your deep understanding of the organization's technology Asset and Inventory landscape.
- Identify emerging technologies and methodologies to enhance solution capabilities and align with industry best practices.
- Lead the design and implementation of services automation, ensuring compliance with industry standards (e.g., TMF, eTOM).
- In-depth knowledge of public and private cloud models from an OSS perspective.
- Familiarity with network core technologies, including 5G, Edge, and ORAN.
- Awareness of network management systems and FCAPS principles.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 10-15+ years of experience in technical project management or delivery roles.
- Proven record of successfully delivering complex technical projects.
- PMP or other relevant project management certifications are preferred.
- Experience in the telecom operation industry is a plus.
- Demonstrated 5+ years' experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams to deliver Inventory and asset projects.
- Proven record of identifying and resolving complex technical issues and challenges.
- Experience in implementing project management with the best practices and process improvements.
- Familiarity with agile and traditional project management methodologies.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification is a plus.
