Job description

Minimum 2-7 years of experience in maintenance and operation, preferably inamusement rides, industrial equipment, or infrastructure, or safety compliance roles.

  • Proven experience managing inspection or engineering teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of inspection standards (ISO/IEC 17020, SASO, ASTM, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound technical judgments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ISO 17020 Lead Auditor, NDT Level II/Ill, or equivalent) is an advantage.

Job Summary:

The Technical Manager is responsible for overseeing all technical operations, ensuring that inspections and engineering activities comply with industry standard, client requirements and applicable regulations (such as ISO/IEC 17020 SASO, ASTM, EN, etc.). The role includes supervising technical staff, ensuring quality control, managing technical documentation and supporting the organization in continuous improvement and accreditation efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Technical oversight and & compliance

  • Ensure that all technical activities and inspections are carried out in accordance with relevant national/international standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17020, SASO, ASTM, EN standards).
  • Review and approve inspection procedure work instructions and technical documentation.
  • Implement best practices in safety, quality assurance, and inspection protocols.

2. Staff Management

  • Supervise and support technical inspectors, engineers, and technicians.
  • Conduct technical training and competency assessments for inspection staff.
  • Evaluate performance and ensure continual professional development.


3. Quality & Accreditation

  • Lead internal audits and prepare for external audits (e.g., ISO accreditation, SASO recognition).
  • Develop and maintain quality control processes for inspection activities.
  • Coordinate with the quality manager to address non-conformities and implement corrective actions.


4. Project & Client Support

  • Serve as a technical advisor to clients, offering guidance on compliance, risk mitigation, and safety standards.
  • Participate in client meetings and provide solutions for technical challenges.
  • Review and approve inspection reports before client delivery.


5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed records of inspection activities, staff certifications, and technical manuals.
  • Prepare periodic reports on technical performance, challenges, and improvement plans.
